Anne Hathaway is definitely a respectable young female actress! There seems to be some really good chemistry here between the two leads and what’s not to love about a 20-something love story? I’m a big fan of these types of films, overly-dramatic and cheesy as they may be. Cheers for tears! lol

I agree, Ryan Gosling was the main reason I felt it was worth watching, even though I’m not really convinced with his womanizing character.

Oh! I’m glad I saw this. I have an uber girl crush on Anne Hathaway and think she’s the best all-around young actress today. Her English accent seems atrocious and likely distracting from the quality of her acting, and I’m not generally optimistic with how the make-up artists age their characters. Regardless, I’m sure I’ll cry at least a bucketful by the end of this.

Sinoun. Although the actors in these movies are fantastic (Emma Stone, Ryan Gosling…), these movies will probably be horrible.

I love Micheal Cera he is a really good actor. He is so in to the character sometime I question myself if he is really like that “really shy geek guy”. When I get back from Australia I will rent Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and watch it again. It was so funny. It’s sad the show Arrested Development ended. Alex and I had good time watching the show.

Keira Knightley is a very good young actress. All of her characters are believable and your eye is drawn to her when she’s onscreen. She’s definitely my favourite.

Totally agree with you, it wasn’t necessarily my type of humor either. Again, there were funny scenes, but there were moments where I wanted my hour back. And wtf @ the chinese guy scene?

Very true, Bale’s lines were pretty minimal and not that memorable… except for when he says “This is not the future my mother warned me about” which is probably my favorite line in the whole movie! All his best parts were shown in the trailer.
I have to point out that this review didn’t really reflect my true feelings though… I was being semi-sarcastic lol.
Sam Worthington was definitely the best thing about it.

Totally agree with your review. Although Bale was good I personally felt he just wasnt given enough material to play off of. The most interesting character for me was the Sam Worthington character or even the kyle reese character was good based on the sole fact that we got very little of him in the previous films and this outing gave us quite a bit of backstory on him. Not to mention the fact that I felt he had the best performance.

true, he was brilliant… some of it was a little cheese-ish… there was a little lack of depth. And the one lady with the perfectly coiffed beachy-waves model hair after she pulled her helmut off post plane crash was a little ridic.
